Tincknell Loyalty Club (TLC) Full Terms and Conditions

Your TLC scheme
  • 1. These terms and conditions are applicable across the entire Tincknell TLC scheme and any participation is considered as acceptance. Additional terms and conditions may be in place for optional elements of the scheme. TLC members participating in the optional elements of the scheme will be considered as having accepted the additional terms and conditions
  • 2. The TLC account, digital card, coupons, vouchers, and points, in whatever form, are issued by and remain the property of Tincknells. Tincknells may, at any time, terminate, alter, or amend the conditions or operation of the scheme.
  • 3. The scheme is UK only. All members of the scheme must have a valid UK address and be aged 18 years or over.
  • 4. Members are only entitled to one TLC account each. Tincknells reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.
  • 5. TLC members must keep their personal details updated on their TLC accounts. Tincknells cannot be held responsible for any loss of points or vouchers incurred as a result of incorrect details. Vouchers will expire after 1 year of issue. TLC accounts that aren’t used for 1 year and accounts with out-of-date details, may be removed and any points or vouchers forfeited.
  • 6. The TLC is not transferable, cannot be copied and can only be used by the member who is named and registered on the account.
  • 7. The TLC, vouchers and points remain the responsibility of the TLC member, as do any security details relating to the account. Tincknells cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from the member failing to ensure the safe-keeping of these items.
  • 8. Tincknells may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel TLC coupons, vouchers and points, in whatever form, and/or remove a member from the scheme if: there is reasonable belief of any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme, any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions and/or those relating to the optional elements of the scheme, any behaviour relating to TLC or the Tincknell Group that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour, or supplying false or misleading information.
  • 9. The scheme is for personal and consumer use only. TLC cannot be used for any business transaction or purpose. Neither Credit Account Customers, Trade Account Customers nor Staff Discount Customers are eligible to accrue points.
  • 10. TLC accounts, TLC digital cards, coupons, points and vouchers cannot be transferred, bought, sold or traded in any way.
  • 11. Members can choose to leave the scheme at any time. By leaving the scheme members forfeit the right to any points already accrued. Any vouchers will cease to work immediately.

Collecting TLC points
  • 1. TLC members must either present their digital TLC Card or identify themselves at the checkout in order to collect points for a transaction in-store, if wishing to redeem vouchers and the digital card is not present other forms of proof of identification may be requested. This must be done at the time of transaction as no points will be eligible to be applied after the transaction and the points will be missed.
  • 2. TLC members will be required to enter their TLC account details to collect points on purchases made online at tincknellcountrystore.co.uk
  • 3. Points are awarded for every full pound spent on qualifying products in a single transaction. The number of points awarded may change and may vary depending on the products bought, the amount spent and where the transaction takes place.
  • 4. Points will not be awarded for non-qualifying products, products may be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Tincknells.
  • 5. Tincknells may set a maximum number of points that can be awarded for promotional items where additional points are available. Individual promotions may have different limits as communicated in their purchase conditions. Any participation in promotional offers above and beyond what could objectively be considered consumer behaviour or personal use may be considered as abuse of the scheme.
  • 6. Tincknells is entitled to remove TLC points from member’s accounts at any time, if products are returned for any reason and a full or partial refund of the purchase price is given. This also applies to the exchange of products, unless the exchange is for products with an equivalent points value.
  • 7. TLC points awarded at the time of the transaction or vouchers already issued may be removed or cancelled if Tincknells determines that the points were collected in breach of these terms and conditions or were awarded in error. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice or actions of our staff that is contrary to these terms and conditions will not have the effect of changing these terms and conditions.
  • 8. The current conversion value of points is 1 point is equal to £0.01.

TLC vouchers
  • 1. TLC vouchers will automatically be emailed to the customer during the first transaction upon which the customer’s Points equal or exceed 100, with the points converting to voucher.
  • 2. The voucher will be awarded in increments of £1.00. TLC points that cannot be converted into TLC vouchers because they are below the qualifying threshold or points that remain following conversion, will be 'carried forward'.
  • 3. TLC vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of issue and are accompanied by an expiry date, they cannot be used or reissued after this date. Lost vouchers can be securely accessed by Tincknells shop staff.
  • 4. Vouchers may be redeemed against purchases. If the value of the voucher is greater than the cost of the product the balance will remain on the voucher for subsequent use and a replacement voucher will be printed.
  • 5. TLC vouchers are the property of Tincknells and have no cash value. They’re not for resale or publication. Defaced and/or copied vouchers will not be accepted. Valid for use only by the recipient and age restrictions apply. Includes only Tincknell Country Stores and excludes all other parts of the Tincknell Group.

Coupons
  • 1. TLC Coupons will be sent by email. These coupons include an expiry date as well as specific conditions of use.
  • 2. Coupons may be presented in store either on a digital device or printed. Customer printed TLC coupons - Please ensure your TLC coupons are printed clearly on white paper, before taking them into store. Unfortunately, smudged or unclear barcodes are unable to be scanned at the till. These vouchers can only be used once at face value.
  • 3. TLC coupons are the property of Tincknells and have no cash value. They’re not for resale or publication. Defaced and/or copied vouchers will not be accepted. Valid for use only by the recipient and age restrictions apply.

General
  • 1. The promoter of TLC is R Tincknell & Son Limited, trading as Tincknell Country Store.
  • 2. These terms and conditions replace all previous versions and are correct as of July 2025. They will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. Tincknells reserves the right to change these at any time, on reasonable notice for legal, regulatory, business or policy reasons. Members who continue to participate in the scheme following such a change will be considered to have accepted the updated terms and conditions.
  • 3. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms and conditions, but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.
  • 4. Due to printing lead times, the terms and conditions in store may not reflect the most recent changes. These are the most up to date terms and conditions.

Participation and Communication Requirements
  • 1. The Tincknell Loyalty Club (TLC) is a personalised program designed to provide tailored offers, rewards, and benefits based on your preferences and purchase behaviour. In order to deliver this personalised experience, we rely on electronic communications (such as email) to share with you relevant information and offers. By joining Your TLC you agree to receive marketing communications from us, including emails tailored to your interests and activity. These communications are essential for the operation and fulfilment of the program benefits.
  • 2. If either the email address provided is not valid or you choose to unsubscribe from email marketing communications, your eligibility to participate in the loyalty scheme and receive associated rewards, offers, or benefits will cease. You may rejoin the loyalty scheme by resubscribing to marketing communications, subject to our discretion and any program availability at that time.
